I now have available the new Jolida JD-502P power amplifier. This new amp is an upgraded version of the 6550/KT88 tube amp as used in the JD-502B integrated amp. It adds Ultra Fast HEXFRED's in the power supply as well as custom Jolida capacitors and ceramic composition resistors. There are two 6550 tubes per channel to produce the great dynamics, detail and sonics that 6550/KT88's are famous for.

We can also order the amp set up for EL-34 tubes. In this configuration it does 50 watts per channel and has the warmer more liquid sonics of the EL-34 while sacrificing some of the tighter more controlled bass and better detail of the 6550/KT-88 tube.

The 502P has both XLR balanced inputs as well as single ended RCA inputs to work with any preamp. It uses custom wound Audio Transformers with a core of German grain oriented silicon steel. This is a 15th generation proprietary Jolida design. The secondary can be configured for a 4 ohm or 8 ohm speaker load. It uses gold plated RCA input jacks, audiophile grade carbon composite grid resistors, HEXFRED high speed soft recovery diodes and poly tin coupling capacitors. The EZ bias system uses LED's so no meter is required.
