This preamp outperforms others at 2-3 times the price.
The CA-900 preamplifier features a tube line stage and a tube power supply that will produce a more transparent and musical sound. It has four sets of inputs and two sets of main outputs for flexibility.

Inside the CA-900, you will notice the same craftsmanship as found in our other products such as point-to-point wiring and hand-soldering of parts. Only highest quality parts and components are used in critical applications. The extra thick military grade epoxy circuit boards are designed to minimize component interaction.

The power supply utilizing one 12BH7 and one EF86 vacuum tubes incorporated with a newly design circuit. The oversize power transformer is custom wound and a choke is also used. There is even a metal divider that run the depth of the unit to shield the power supply from the line stage.

The tube line stage utilizing two 6922 and one 6CG7 vacuum tubes. Circuit highlights include the use of four pieces custom made capacitors. A Swiss made ELMA rotary switch is used as a selector for input sources and a high quality Alps volume control is used for precise volume adjustment.

This pair of Valhalla speaker cables was purchased new in 2002, and only used for 4 years before being stored. They are in really mint condition with no kinks and almost no wear visible on the spades.  S/N 50350

 They are bi-wired, but can be re-terminated to shotgun by the factory for $45/cable. They are in a Nordost original lockable factory presentation box, also in mint condition.
